If you’ve ever worked in an agency setting, or any B2B setting, you know that one of the best feelings in the world is the moment you land a new customer. When you land a new customer, however, the work is just beginning. This is not the time to put your feet up and ponder how you ever became such a good salesperson. It is time to begin the on-boarding process for this new client! This is not a terribly complex process, but it is a critically important one, especially when you land two or three new clients in a short period of time.

Effective on-boarding means getting the professional relationship between your business and the client off to the right start. For more about the process check out our blog post here. We expand on our thoughts in the podcast, so if you really want to get a good grasp of on-boarding, read the post then listen to the podcast!

In this episode, we also talk Pokemon Go and how businesses can use it for marketing. It sounded just as crazy to us the first time we heard it, but people are getting results with it!

Show Notes:

We talked Sign Now and how it makes are on-boarding process much more seamless and helps us get started right away!

Also, check out Nimble for a fun, easy CRM that helps you sell!

Music:

These three great bands will be playing the Connie’s Ric Rac 10 Year Anniversary Celebration, so be sure to stop by on Saturday July 30th!
